Canadian Geographic's Kids Atlas Online is a great place to get an interactive education about basic geology. Games included!

KidsGeo is a fun place to learn about dozens of geology topics, including how rocks are formed and what the earth's crust is made of.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis presents Rex the Dino Detective and lots of great information about rocks and fossils.

These "Rock Hounds" have great animated pictures of how various types of rock are formed.

Children ages 7 and Up:

The Smithsonian Institute teaches about more than rocks. You'll also find great information about gems, minerals, volcanoes and the solar system!
